Interested in church history (with a dash of West Michigan history, too)? Click here to check out Episode No. 8 of the brand-new Byron Center PRC Evangelism Podcast for an interview with Dan Van Uffelen, editor of the Christ and His Church church history series.

This episode, titled "God in Church History," was recorded before the release of CAHC Vol. 2. In this 90-minute interview, VanUffelen offers an intriguing window into his many years teaching church history and editing the CAHC series. The interview is available on rePhonic and elsewhere fine podcasts are streamed.

"The author of [Christ and His Church] is Herman Hanko, Prof. Herman Hanko, who is a much-loved pillar in the PRC. He was a much-loved minister and professor for many years, he's written many books...I can remember the first time hearing him preaching, it was stirring. Interestingly, he's also a great storyteller. What a treat it was to listen to him...This book is the fruit of many years of work. It's been for me a great privilege to work with Prof. Hanko on this.

"We want these books to be read by anybody, so that they can know the story of God's mighty works in history.

"Prof. Hanko constantly brings us, even in a dark period, to see the light, [proving] that God never leaves his church without a witness."
